The session opened with an overview of the SMALLDERS project, followed by detailed presentations on new business models tailored for small farmers, enabling technologies such as Sensors 4.0, and the importance of end-to-end traceability—from field to point of sale. The partners also shared insights from testbeds conducted in Italy, France, Spain, and Tunisia, which demonstrate the real-world application of the project’s tools and methodologies. Additional segments covered the use of simulation and digital twin technologies, and concluded with a presentation of the SMALLDERS digital platform.
