SMALLDERS Special Session at ISM 2025 – Presentation of Final Project Results

The 7th International Conference on Industry of the Future and Smart Manufacturing (ISM 2025) hosted a dedicated Special Session on the SMALLDERS Project, offering an excellent opportunity to present and disseminate the project’s final results. The conference took place at the Valletta Campus in Malta from 12–14 November 2025.
The SMALLDERS Special Session was held on Thursday 13 November from 11:15 AM to 1:00 PM (CET – Malta Local Time) in a hybrid format.
The session provided a comprehensive overview of the project and its key achievements. The University of Calabria opened the session with a presentation of the SMALLDERS Project and an overview of the SMALLDERS platform. This was followed by the University of Extremadura which introduced innovative business models aimed at enhancing sustainability and resilience in the agri-food sector. The University of Parma then explored the integration of IoT systems and blockchain technologies to improve agri-food traceability. The University of Tunis El Manar presented a novel perspective on assessing agri-food performance through multi-capital sustainability indicators while IMT Mines Alès concluded the session with innovative simulation models supporting decision-making in agri-food chains.
