Overview of the French Testbed Region:
The French testbed is located at Domaine Lespina which is a small vineyard located in Domazan, southern France. It is dedicated to vine cultivation and traditional wine production, combining local expertise with sustainable farming practices.
Sensor Installation in France
The French SMALLDERS team has installed two sensors on-site:
The first sensor (EM500-SMTC) is deployed in the vineyard. It measures soil moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity to monitor vine-growing conditions.
The second sensor (EM500-CO2) is installed in the wine cellar, where fermentation occurs. It tracks CO₂ concentration, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure to ensure optimal fermentation conditions.
