The SMALLDERS Project held its 7th and final General Assembly on 18 September 2025 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM in Fes Morocco in a hybrid format combining on-site and online participation.
The meeting brought together key researchers from all partner institutions: the University of Calabria, the University of Parma (Italy), IMT Mines Alès (France), the University of Extremadura (Spain) and the University of Tunis El Manar (Tunisia).
This assembly marked an important milestone, providing the opportunity to review the project’s achievements, share the latest updates, and assess the overall progress towards its conclusion. Discussions focused on the successful completion of major milestones, the advancement of the SMALLDERS platform, and the outcomes of integration and testing activities. Special attention was given to final coordination tasks, dissemination strategies, and measures to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project’s results.
Partners also took this occasion to address future challenges beyond the project’s lifetime, explore innovative solutions together, and highlight the importance of stakeholder engagement across all testbeds to maximize impact and ensure lasting benefits.
